Joshua 14: In Writing

Sometimes you flinch from your reflection
somtimes,  your reflection turns away.
Run, run, after the retreating back
getting smaller and smaller.
He's faster, more graceful
refuses to grow old
and you are left, panting, tired
as he moves on.
